The Leicester Eagles are one of the leading Flag American Football clubs in the country with a successful Senior team (16+) and a very successful Under 18's section.
We play 5-on-5 non-contact flag football at Senior level in the BAFA Community Flag League, having previously played in the BAFL Flag League. In the inaugural season in 2008, the Eagles won the English Conference, eventually losing out in the British Semi-Final. The Eagles then went nearly a calender year undefeated, retained their English crown, before finishing as 2009 British runners up.
The Eagles Youth team over came many obstacles in 2009 to make finals day and despite losing in the British Semi-Final, won the third-fourth place playoff to make for another memorable Under 18 season
The Eagles train on Sunday's on Victoria Park opposite the Old Horse pub, London Road, Leicester. We train weekly starting at 11am, running to 1pm.
We are a successful and very friendly club, and new players of all ages, experience and ability are always welcome to come along to training and play football for the Eagles.
2010 UPDATE: We are looking for a new crop of junior and youth players to swell our ranks at under 18 level! For further information on how to join the Eagles, please check out our contacts page.
